Terms & Conditions – Kathy’s Bakery Sisters

By placing an order with Kathy’s Bakery, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These policies are in place to ensure fairness, quality, and transparency for both our customers and our staff.

1. Order Inspection & Issue Reporting

  • Orders must be inspected at the time of pickup.

  • Any issues must be reported within 24 hours of purchase.

  • A valid receipt or proof of purchase is required for all claims.

  • Claims submitted after 24 hours may not be eligible for review.

2. Refunds & Replacements Policy

Refunds or replacements are offered only when an error was made by our bakery.

Eligible for Refund or Replacement

  • Incorrect item provided

  • Incorrect cake flavor, filling, or decoration due to staff error

  • Missing items from the order

Requirements to Receive a Refund or Replacement

  • Receipt or proof of purchase is required

  • The full product must be returned

  • Customer may choose either:

    • A replacement of the correct item, or

    • A refund

Not Eligible for Refunds or Replacements

Refunds or replacements will not be issued if:

  • No receipt or proof of purchase is provided

  • The issue is reported after 24 hours

  • The product has been mostly or fully consumed

  • The concern is based on personal preference (taste, texture, or appearance)

  • The issue was not caused by our bakery

Products that are eaten or mostly consumed are not eligible for refunds.

3. Claim Review & Verification

All claims are reviewed carefully and respectfully.

To resolve concerns, we may:

  • Review receipts and order details

  • Review store camera footage

  • Speak with staff members involved

Final decisions regarding refunds or replacements are made by management.

Repeated false or unverifiable claims may result in refusal of future service.

4. Foreign Object Claims

Foreign object claims are subject to strict review.

  • Claims must include verifiable information

  • Claims without sufficient verification may not qualify for a refund or replacement

5. Allergen Notice

  • Our products may contain or come into contact with milk, eggs, wheat, peanuts, tree nuts, soy, and sesame. We are not an allergen-free facility and cannot guarantee that any item is free from allergens.

  • If you have a food allergy, please inform us before placing your order. By purchasing, you acknowledge this risk and take full responsibility for your dietary needs.

6. Custom & Special Orders

  • Custom cakes, tamales, and special Easter orders (including website Special Requests, Instagram DMs, and other direct channels) are final sale once accepted.

  • Refunds or replacements will only be issued if an error was made by our bakery

7. Unclaimed Orders

  • We are unable to offer refunds for unclaimed orders. Your order is prepared fresh specifically for you — it is your responsibility to pick it up on time.

  • We will hold your order until end of day. If you missed your pickup time, you are still welcome to come in before we close. However, if the order is never picked up, no refund will be issued.

8. Cancellation Policy 

  • Orders canceled 24 hours or more before pickup may be eligible for a refund

  • Orders canceled less than 24 hours before pickup are non-refundable
